Brokerage Operations Principal

Job Summary Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:30pm Primary duties of this position are to assist in the processing of shipments. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Verifying every picking ticket matches the order number on the box. Maintain an organized shipping environment Keep shipments on schedule Good communication skills and quick responses to other departments. Very efficient in UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, TNT, and Agile software Understanding of commercial invoices Understanding of Freight Orders May be assigned other duties assigned by management May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. Knowledge & Skills Required Strong Computer proficiency Ability to multi-task Ability to work at fast pace Attention to detail Problem solving abilities Good communication skills Physical Demands Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling Frequent walking Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Qualifications Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr First Command Financial Services, Inc.
