TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department
  • Discipline: RN
  • Start Date: 10/18/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, rotating
  • Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience and 1 year of travel experience — firm requirements
  • Level II trauma experience
  • Wisconsin RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
  • Epic experience

Patient care and support

  • Ratio: 3–4 patients per RN
  • Patients: Cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases in a fast-paced environment
  • RN duties: Lab draws and nebulizer treatments
  • Support: In-house lab and RT; X-ray staff located in the ED
  • Technology: Epic and Pyxis
