Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant Reports To: Director of Administrative Services FLSA Status: Exempt Summary of Position: Join South Texas Radiology Group, a physician-led practice of 70+ radiologists serving Methodist Healthcare System and South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. Key Responsibilities Procedural Work: GI fluoroscopy Ultrasound-guided procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis) Fluoroscopy-guided procedures (lumbar punctures, joint injections) Vascular access and central line placements CT-guided bone marrow biopsies Manage patient consultations, procedures, and follow-up care Coordinate with referring physicians and healthcare teams Provide patient education and procedure-specific care Required Qualifications Graduate of accredited PA program with a Texas license BLS and ACLS certification Strong procedural skills and clinical judgment Excellent communication abilities Preferred: Experience in interventional radiology or diagnostic imaging Experience Pathways Experienced Track: Direct Entry for candidates with IR/imaging background Independent practice after orientation Development Track: Structured training program combining didactic education and hands‑on experience Progressive responsibility as competency develops Ideal for PAs with strong procedural background seeking IR specialization Competitive Compensation Package Retirement plan with employer contribution #J-18808-Ljbffr South-Texas-Radiology-Group,-P.a.
