Job Description

About this role

Safety-minded Concrete Carpenters wanted for on-site concrete and general construction work at DFW Airport. This role focuses on formwork, layout, and maintaining quality through concrete placement while working reliably with a crew. You'll read drawings, set and check forms and embeds, maintain elevations and joints during pours, and keep the work area clean and safe. Some assignments may require airport background checks or a site badge; site-specific training will be provided as needed.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret construction drawings and layout lines for formwork and embeds.
• Set, check, and strip concrete forms; install embeds, blockouts, openings, keyways, and waterstops.
• Maintain elevations, edges, joints, and formwork quality throughout concrete placement.
• Measure, cut, fit, and align formwork and framing; use levels, transit, and layout tools.
• Keep the work area clean, respect tools and materials, communicate with crew and leads, and follow direction for a safe, efficient pour.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience with concrete formwork and site layout in commercial construction.
• Able to read and work from construction drawings and layout stakes accurately.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, leveling, and alignment for concrete columns, walls, and slabs.
• Comfortable working around active concrete placement and maintaining formwork quality under pour conditions.
• Reliable, safety-minded, receptive to feedback, and willing to learn on the job.

Qualifications

• Able to pass airport background check and obtain site badge if required.
• OSHA 10 or willingness to complete site safety training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the DFW site.
• Able to read construction drawings and communicate in English to follow directions.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and work on feet for extended periods; comfortable with heights and confined areas.

What we offer

• On-site safety training and PPE provided as required.
• Consistent, airport-based assignments with clear scope of work.
• Opportunities to develop concrete formwork and layout skills and advance on crew.
• Supportive crew environment with direct communication from leads.
• Assistance and direction for meeting airport access or badge requirements when needed.
