RN Supervisor

Overview RN Supervisor Rego Park Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team in Queens, New York. As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing nursing policies, managing medication schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities Leadership and Management: Create and implement nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment, planning, prioritizing, and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members Medication Management: Manage medication schedules and ensure communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors Staff Development: Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care, conducting regular staff reviews and providing feedback Knowledge and Education: Maintain knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care, educating teams and mentoring staff members Patient Communication: Communicate with patients and their family members as needed, offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress Patient Care: Assess, process, and discharge patients, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with hospital policy and regulations Record Keeping: Manage patient and employee records, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date, and that HIPAA regulations and quality standards are met Communication: Provide a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, and physicians, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in patient care Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Experience: 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience Certifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification (required) Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive Salary: $55-$60 hourly Full-Time Position: Monday-Friday, day shift Opportunities for Growth and Development: Rego Park Health Care is committed to the growth and development of our employees, with opportunities for professional advancement and continuing education How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced registered nurse with a passion for leadership, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
