PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate student binders, including calendars, class and textbook notes, etc. Assist students in any subject area where help is needed. Assist in teaching study skills and other skills needed for college preparation. Conduct tutorial sessions in all areas. Set an example of personal excellence and high expectations for AVID students to follow. Communicate frequently and honestly with the AVID Site Coordinator/teacher regarding student progress and areas of concern. Must attend six (6) hours of AVID training within first 30 days of employment. Perform other duties as assigned.
