Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate a truck—including tractor-containers, refrigerated containers ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in 10 speed manual transmission driving and route navigation will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- No touch frieght
- Deliver goods to various destinations, including refrigerated facilities.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security to maintain safety standards
- Manage route driving logistics by planning optimal paths, maintaining schedules, and adjusting to traffic or weather conditions proactively.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation in compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid CDL A license; experience operating manual transmission preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive various types of trucks including tractor-container refrigerated containers.
- 2-year Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving in diverse environments
- Safety-conscious approach to cargo management
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols for commercial driving
- Ability to navigate using GPS or route planning tools efficiently while managing time effectively
