Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Nurse

High acuity and fast-paced CV stand-alone unit. Focus on congenital heart disease and defects. Involves care for surgical cases of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Experience with heart failure, arrhythmias, and transplant patients is preferred. Knowledge of VAD and Berlin heart is essential. Age range of patients is from neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult CHD patients. Nurse to patient ratio by shift is 1:1 for intensive care unit, 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU.

Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required. RN License required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIH.
