What You'll Do

As the Bistro Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our community bistro while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead all daily bistro operations, including opening, service, and closing procedures
• Deliver an exceptional resident-focused dining experience
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the bistro
• Monitor food and beverage quality, consistency, and presentation
• Recruit, train, coach, and schedule front-of-house team members
• Foster a positive, hospitality-driven team culture
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and respond promptly to feedback
• Partner with dining leadership on menu offerings, specials, and promotions
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Monitor labor, food costs, supplies, and waste to maintain operational efficiency
• Track sales and operational performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, café, or senior living dining
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Senior living or healthcare dining experience
• Coffee shop or barista experience
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions
• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable working around kitchen equipment and heat
