Job Description

PrideStaff is actively recruiting for qualified AP/AR Clerks in the Bay Saint Louis/Pearlington MS area.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.59 - $21.37/hr. DOE
Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm

Job Responsibilities of the AP/AR Clerk are but are not limited to:

Verification processes; verify all vendor addresses and Federal ID numbers if available
Calculates all extensions and totals on invoices; calculating and taking discounts when applicable
Verifies all coding
Reviews invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
Reviewing vendor files for any previous payments
Assigns voucher numbers
Maintains copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
May prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, and Federal ID number, item description, amounts, and coding per accounting policies and procedures
May type periodic reports and other records
May reconcile bank statements

Interested applicants must have the below experience to be considered:

Advanced MSO Excel sofware knowledge/experience
Experience with vendor verification processes
Bank & Vendor Account Reconciliation
SAP Accounting Software Knowledge preferred
