Location: White Plains, New York(Hybrid) Position Overview I’m currently recruiting for a Litigation Associate Attorney – Municipal Defense opportunity with a well-established national defense litigation firm in White Plains, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney looking to take ownership of a sophisticated caseload while gaining meaningful exposure to court appearances, depositions, motion practice, client interaction, and trial preparation. The practice handles matters involving municipalities, public entities, civil rights, constitutional claims, employment disputes, police misconduct, land use, and complex liability litigation. Why Consider This Opportunity? $150K–$185K base salary + hybrid work Manage cases from inception through resolution Meaningful courtroom, deposition, and trial exposure Sophisticated municipal, civil rights, and complex litigation matters Strong trial advocacy training, mentorship, and professional development Responsibilities Manage a litigation caseload and develop case strategy Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and court appearances Represent municipalities and other clients in civil rights, employment, police misconduct, First Amendment, land use, and liability matters Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic guidance Assist with trial preparation and courtroom strategy Qualifications JD from an accredited ABA law school Admitted to practice in New York State Experience with discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $185,000 .
