About the Role:
Tender Care Learning Academy is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team in New Castle, DE! Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Maintain daily communication with parents and caregivers regarding each child's progress and daily activities
• Follow established feeding, napping, and diapering routines in accordance with individual child needs
• Observe and document developmental milestones for each child in your care
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive, team-oriented learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or early learning setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 0–3
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and team members
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and sitting on the floor
• Must pass a state background check and meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
