POSITION: Accounting Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Accounting

LOCATION: Beardstown, IL

SALARY CLASS: Salary

Responsibilities: 

• Co-manage facility billing and production yield accounting functions with first shift supervisor.
• Reconcile production reporting to financial reporting.
• Assist with internal control compliance & process improvement.
• Perform various other tasks as needed to ensure efficiency in the accounting department
• Participate in Year End Accounting Tasks
• Weekend work required when plant works Saturdays

Relationships: 

• Partner with plant management, production employees, and accounting staff

Special Skills: 

• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively—verbally & in writing.
• Knowledge of accounting and compliance principles & practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good attendance and safety records

Education:  

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance degree preferred.

 Experience   

• Previous accounting experience preferred

The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Base Salary: $58,015min- $70,488mid
