This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY or IN***The Capital Coordinator reports to the System AVP of 10Asset & Construction Procurement. This position is responsible for the coordination, negotiation and acquisition of capital investments and all products/items and services related to the use of capital equipment, in conjunction with leading system wide contract management of services and equipment. This position is responsible for all aspects of asset acquisition from vendor/equipment identification through project costing & tendering. As a clinical equipment expert, guiding the customer towards the appropriate manufacturer is a key responsibility.This position is responsible for the development of equipment standardization programs and bulk purchases of equipment for the health system. In conjunction with the facilities leadership, this position is responsible for project plan development and management. The position will also be responsible for administering continuous process improvement and performance measurement.
