Job Details Position: Licensed Practical Nurse – Day Shift Location: Special Management Unit, Jackson, GA 30233 Employer: Centurion Health Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 7:30AM – 5:00PM (rotating weekend) Compensation: $31.00–$36.00 per hour; weekend shift differential $1.00 Work Environment Day shift schedule, clear policies and workflows, dedicated security presence, no family or visitor interactions, supportive nursing leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence‑based nursing care to incarcerated patients. Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols. Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately. Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Qualifications Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health, correctional, or emergency department settings. Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license – either Georgia (SL) or Compact (MSL). Active certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS). Ability to obtain security clearance through the Georgia Department of Corrections, which may include drug screen and criminal background check.
