Product Manager, Payments

Location: Cupertino, CA

Introduction

The Payments Platform team is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to focus on payments performance, compliance, and data services. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and compliant payment systems accessible to our merchants.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment gateways, merchant services, digital wallets, and mobile payments.
• 5 years of experience in the payments industry.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Splunk, Tableau, Numbers/Excel, Keynote
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive product decisions.
• Knowledge of payment regulations, security standards, privacy, and industry best practices.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of international payment systems and cross-border transactions.
• Master's degree in Business or Data Analytics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct review and analysis of payment partner integration flows between Client and external payment providers.
• Review payment specs, extract payloads and identify opportunities for data minimization.
• Monitor and analyze payment metrics, such as transaction volume and decline rates, and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
• Leverage data-driven insights to make informed recommendations on data and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, treasury, and product to gather requirements and implement best practices.
• Coordinate engagement and communication with external partners regarding the review and assessment of integrations.
