Location: Greenville, MI 1st Shift | Monday–Friday Pay: Based on Experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join a manufacturing team in Greenville, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure production runs efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Buyer, your core responsibilities will include:
• Review material and inventory requirements using ERP/MRP systems
• Create and manage purchase orders and blanket orders
• Maintain inventory levels to support production needs
• Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and delays
• Expedite orders when needed to support production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and identify supply chain risks
• Coordinate vendor returns and resolve receiving issues
• Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP system updates
• Analyze reports and forecasts to support purchasing decisions

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of purchasing or sourcing experience required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• International purchasing experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
