Hustler Hollywood Human Resources GeneralistHustler Hollywood is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support our retail team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of HR for the Retail Division and works out of our beautiful Century City office. The Human Resources Generalist will handle tasks within the Human Resources department with responsibilities in onboarding, offboarding, training and development, HRIS administration, HR ticket management (using Zendesk), assisting with employee relations and investigations, and general HR administration including special projects and rewards and recognition.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Research projects as directedCompile HR reports as directedAssist with recruitment and employee relationsMaintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirementsCoordinate and manage/report on status of training requirements such as sexual harassmentConduct Onboarding and Off-boarding of retail and corporate employeesProcess new hires, terminations and other status changes within the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now and eTime)Generate Background Checks and Assessment testsManages I-9 and E-Verify compliance for retail teamResponds to unemployment claims and assists external unemployment claims administrator with necessary informationPartners with Legal in tracking and auditing the collection of required onboarding documentsResponsible for ordering and distribution of Labor Law Posters in compliance with State and Federal regulationsAssist with leaves of absence though absence management platform.Assists with general HR questions and understanding how to apply company policy and procedures, determining when escalation is necessaryOther duties as assignedQualificationsA minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience with generalist dutiesADP Workforce Now knowledge and experience with the ability to run reports and create spreadsheets upon request.Effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgement and discretionGeneral knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and practicesExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsExcellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Microsoft Windows environmentEmployee relations experienceEducation/Formal TrainingBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related field of Study preferred, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferredWork EnvironmentProfessional office environment.
