Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls is looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Shift Lead to oversee restaurant operations during assigned shifts. As a Shift Lead, you will lead by example, coach team members, ensure exceptional guest service, and maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Pay : Hourly + Tips + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
• Coach, motivate, and develop Team Associates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, safely, and according to Mason's standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health department compliance.
• Handle cash, POS transactions, deposits, and shift paperwork.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving deliveries.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
• Ensure labor, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Represent Mason's at off-site catering events, festivals, and pop-up locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or retail environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
