PARKVIEW ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (reduction of regular bill rate by ***%; rate multipliers be applied to the reduced regular bill rate)
- Call off policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13 week assignment
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 8 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation, clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date will not be eligible for non-billable orientation

Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiovascular ICU setting.
Current Indiana or compact RN license
BLS (AHA only)
ACLS (AHA only)
Does candidate require time off during assignment? If yes, please list in comments
Is this candidate a 1099?
Float down to Stepdown/PCU with 1:3 ratio and like units as needed is requirement.
Travel experience preferred.
Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred.
Open-heart recovery experience preferred/desired

PHI 2 is a mixed acuity unit, the nurses are very separate in their skill set between ICU and Prog level. The patients remain within this unit throughout their CV stay. ICU nurses care for them right out of OR and then the patient moves to the other hall where the Prog level teams gets them prepared for home or ECF placement.


Required skills and minimum years of experience:
2 years Cardiovascular ICU nursing. Open-heart recovery experience preferred/desired.

Equipment utilized in the unit/department:
EPIC charting, Pyxis

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), IN RN license

Shift or schedule requirements:
Shifts vary.

Floating to other units/departments:
YES, to like units when needed, also may float down to Progressive units as needed.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:
1:1 or 1:2 on ICU side
1:3 or 1:4 on step down side

Dress Code:
Scrubs: Caribbean Blue

Orientation will be Mon-Wed week 1. Orientation shift will be scheduled after education days within week 1. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL 3 DAYS OF ORIENTATION.
