Role Purpose

Serve as the first point of contact for all patients arriving at the practice, ensuring every check-in is handled warmly, accurately, and efficiently. The Front Desk Receptionist plays a critical role in the patient experience by managing the front desk, verifying patient information, and preparing patients for their visit.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Greeting & Check-In

• Greet all patients warmly and promptly upon arrival
• Check patients in efficiently, minimizing wait times
• Maintain a welcoming, organized front desk area

Insurance & Documentation

• Collect and verify insurance cards and photo ID at every visit
• Confirm patient demographic and insurance information is accurate and up to date
• Obtain signed consent forms and other required documentation prior to the visit

Rooming & Patient Flow

• Room patients promptly and accurately, following clinic flow
• Communicate wait times and updates to patients as needed
• Coordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow moving smoothly

Administrative Coordination

• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Support front office workflow as needed
• Assist with scheduling support when needed

Financial Transactions Support

• Process patient payments accurately when required
• Support daily transaction posting and account reconciliation as directed
