Senior Staff Engineer

Responsibilities Architect and deliver scalable, cloud-based enterprise solutions to enhance performance and security. Translate product requirements into technical designs, developing and optimizing .NET Core microservices in containers/Cloud (Azure/AWS) leveraging load balancing, monitoring, and RESTful API support. Analyze existing system architecture and identify performance or other limitations, evaluating state-of-the-art technologies and methods to solve complex problems. Convert requirement and design documents into code and supporting tests. Collaborate with the architect to build Proof of Concept feasibility studies. Participate in Agile practices, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support iterative development. Research emerging tools and containerization practices (Docker) and cloud native solutions (Azure/AWS) and share insights to drive innovation. Resolve complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and optimizing multi-threaded applications for high performance in distributed environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 8 years of experience in software engineering. 3 years of experience developing in C#, .NET Core and related technologies; relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures and tuning. Experience writing design documents and adhering to design specifications. Performance analysis and tuning, troubleshooting resource contention and high utilization using best practices and coding standards. Following agile software development principles. Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure or AWS). Software design including developing SOA/Microservices using .NET Core. Analyzing and improving product efficiency using various development and test techniques; performing code reviews and CI/CD. 2 years of experience in unit, integration, functional and load testing. Location and Remote Work Worksite: 11120 Four Points Drive, Austin, TX 78726. May telecommute from any home office within the United States. 40 hours per week. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $163,550.00 – $289,300.00 (US-based employees). May be eligible for the Company’s Bonus plan or a role‑specific commission, and potential equity participation.
