We're seeking a motivated Field Service Technician with a passion for learning and problem-solving to join our Walker, LA team. In this role, you'll provide on-site maintenance, calibration, and repair of industrial scales , helping businesses keep their operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Perform hands-on maintenance, calibration, and repairs at customer sites.
• Travel within a two-hour radius to support clients with top-notch service.
• Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for weighing and calibration equipment.

What We're Looking For:

• A strong work ethic, neat appearance, and the ability to work independently.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort using tablets.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Prior experience in a technical or field service role is a plus.
• Technical degree preferred but not required— we offer on-the-job training.

Requirements:

• Clean driving record with the ability to obtain a Class B CDL.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and CDL status. Year 1 compensation including benefits and retirement typically exceeds $70,000.
