Physical Therapist

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. Candidates must have experience working in orthopedic settings. Charge experience is required. The therapist will work Monday through Friday with alternating start times. Candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment or have one month of per diem experience. The role involves using various therapeutic techniques such as AROM/AAROM/PROM, gait training, and functional assessments. The therapist will also educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and exercises. The position involves a focus on patient safety and injury prevention. Skills in modalities such as e-stim and cryotherapy are beneficial. Candidates should be proficient in patient documentation and familiar with community hospital charting systems. The use of assistive devices and rehabilitation strategies for conditions like low back pain, knee injuries, and post-operative recovery is required. The position may involve working with a diverse patient population and adapting to their individual rehabilitation needs. Strong communication and time management skills are essential for this role.
