Job Summary The Coordinator, Human Resources supports the day-to-day operations of D.C. United’s human resources function. This role helps administer HR processes and programs for D.C. United and its affiliates, including onboarding and offboarding, employee recordkeeping, benefits enrollment, recruiting coordination, payroll support, HRIS reporting, and employee correspondence. Employment Details Compensation: $55,000 - $59,000 per year Location: Audi Field, Monday – Thursday, with flexibility to work from home on Friday Reports to: Manager, Human Resources Employment type: Full-time, benefits eligible Essential Functions, Duties And Responsibilities Under supervision, the HR Coordinator will carry out the following tasks: All HR tasks related to onboarding and offboarding full-time and part-time employees for D.C. United, DC Power FC, and other affiliates Post new positions and guide hiring managers through the recruitment process Support the payroll process for nonexempt employees, and contribute to processing incentive payments Run reports using Paylocity HRIS, focusing on accuracy and confidentiality Handle routine correspondence with employees, government agencies, and benefits vendors Provide administrative support for the full spectrum of HR processes Requirements Associates degree in a related field, or equivalent experience One year of experience working in a professional office environment Availability to work in the office at Audi Field Monday – Thursday each week with flexibility to work at home on Friday Availability to commute to other locations such as practice fields in Loudoun County on occasion (less than 10% of the time) The selected candidate must successfully pass a background and reference check. The selected candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an HR Department Familiarity with state and federal employment laws Experience with Paylocity Certification related to HR, payroll, or Paylocity Required Competencies (KSAs) Ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously Professional and friendly demeanor suitable to be the face of the HR function Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong communication skills, including active listening Strong reading comprehension and writing skills Critical thinking and professional judgment skills Coachable team player with ability to multitask and mange time effectively, follow through, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment Intermediate Microsoft Office skills D.C.
