Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate and monitor GE Innova imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations and angiograms.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with complex procedures including stent placements, balloon angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures while adhering to hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and calibrate equipment, ensuring all tools are sterile and functioning correctly.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the EMR system, including Meditech and MacLab.
  
  
• 
  Respond flexibly to on-call demands and adapt to the unit's fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications valid for cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate competent knowledge of Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment.
  
  
• 
  Prefer RCIS certification; candidates with this credential will be prioritized.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work as part of a close-knit team with critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit flexibility for frequent on-call shifts and emergency response.
