Qualifications:

• Proficient in general, obstetric, fetal, and gynecologic ultrasound imaging
• Familiarity with ASRT and AIUM practice standards
• Strong communication skills, especially in high-stress patient care settings
• Capable of using hospital and radiology computer applications (order tests, manage images)
• Experience assisting in invasive diagnostic or surgical procedures is preferred
• Credentialed and up to date with relevant certifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized ultrasound exams per physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document and prepare imaging and reports to ensure timely diagnosis
• Conduct fetal monitoring tests when needed
• Support physicians during invasive diagnostic or surgical procedures
• Educate and support patients and their families during procedures
• Maintain compliance with practice and accreditation standards
• Navigate hospital computer systems efficiently (ordering/cancelling tests, managing images)
