Physical Security Tech Specialist

Position Physical Security Tech Specialist / Corporate Security (GPSS) Key Responsibilities Provide security system support related to upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with management and local business units to establish and improve security needs of offices. Liaise with third‑party vendors and internal IT groups in support of security systems, equipment, and applications. Process requests from the identity management system regarding system access. Prepare and maintain training materials for security equipment and applications for end users. Assist with security investigations—including retention of data and evidence, and authorized distribution to internal and external entities. Provide reports and other documentation for review in internal and external audits. Document and track all observed and reported issues with security systems and components. Investigate new security technologies and advise management for potential implementation. Assist in maintaining inventory of all security equipment and supplies. Review procedures and practices to demonstrate compliance with applicable federal and state regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills Basic knowledge of risk management and physical security typically acquired through related experience. Hardware and software troubleshooting skills; security system knowledge (CCTV, alarms, access control) preferred. Analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and troubleshoot malfunctions of security equipment and applications. Ability to monitor and generate reports related to subject matter. Can work independently and in a team setting. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to excel within a large organizational setting, working with various internal and external teams and performing remote work as necessary. Established skills to perform routine day‑to‑day activities. A college or university degree and/or relevant work experience. Work Arrangements Role requires the individual to be onsite 5 days a week between 7:30a.m. and 4p.m. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship currently or in the future.
