Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner in Philadelphia, PA.Requirements:Board Certified (ANCC or AANP)Active Pennsylvania NP licenseMinimum 5-7 years of NP experience (preferably in long-term care)At least 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly populationBLS & DEA Certification requiredClean malpractice history highly preferredNPs only - No PAs acceptedPosition Details:Setting: primary care program providing care for geriatric patientsLocation: Philadelphia, PADuration: 3-month initial assignmentSchedule: Day shifts, no call requiredDuties:Primary medical management in collaboration with clinic physiciansConduct assessments and develop care plans for participantsProvide treatment for participant complaints and offer caregiver educationParticipate as a key member of the Interdisciplinary TeamOversee daily operations of the clinicPerform rounds in contracted nursing homesMaintain thorough documentation and communication with the care teamCompensation & Benefits:Pay Rate: Competitive hourly ratePayment: Weekly direct depositInsurance: Malpractice insurance providedSupport: Dedicated recruiter assistance throughout the assignmentOnboarding Process:Expedited credentialing availableAssistance with compliance and facility paperworkOrientation provided before the start dateAbout Vivo HealthStaff:Vivo HealthStaff is a locum tenens staffing firm specializing in placing healthcare professionals in temporary and long-term assignments across the United States.
