Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT
MLR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Valid state license for Respiratory Therapists.
- Proficiency in operating respiratory care equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
- Strong clinical skills with a deep understanding of respiratory care techniques and protocols.
Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' respiratory conditions by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans in line with physician orders and patient needs.
- Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring it functions properly and remains hygienic.
