Autism Therapist - BT / RBT (Full Time) Location: Sewell, NJ Compensation RBT: Starting rate of $21.40 per hour. BT: Starting rate of $19.35 per hour. *Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education. What You’ll Do Direct Client Support Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics Teach communication, social, and daily living skills Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision Track progress and maintain quality Collect, organize, and document session data accurately Collaborate & Communicate Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families Participate in team meetings and ongoing training Support Operations Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles) Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field Position‑Specific Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40‑hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total) Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Preferred Experience in childcare, education, or related fields Experience working with children or adolescents Prior exposure to ABA services Benefits & Career Growth Career Advancement - Level Up Program Structured growth to RBT Level 2 and Level 3 ($1/hour pay increase per level upon competency completion) Apprenticeship program: training and supervision hours provided Full‑tuition scholarship opportunity at Temple University to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Tuition reimbursement (up to $2,500 per semester) Professional development opportunities for certification Paid RBT training Mentorship toward BCBA certification Other Benefits (FT Employees) 21 paid days off (15 PTO + 6 holidays, increasing with tenure) Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with up to 6% employer match Mileage reimbursement Performance bonus potential ABA Centers of New Jersey is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to building an inclusive workplace free from discrimination.
