Retail Store Manager

Job Details Title: Retail Store Manager Location: Wrightsboro Retail - Augusta, GA 30909 Education: None (College degree preferred) Salary: $0.01 - $60,000.00 per year Shift: Any Responsibilities Oversee the operation of the retail store in accordance with Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia (GIMG) policies and procedures. Manage the collection, processing, and retail facility. Model Goodwill core values by demonstrating service, ownership, accountability, and respect. Ensure efficient store operation, including auditing procedures, bank deposits, cash control, merchandising, staff supervision, training, and evaluations. Maintain security and safety for employees and property. Achieve established goals for sales, payroll, safety, and expense control. Supervise personnel to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution. Assist with acceptance, sorting, processing, and merchandising donated goods. Ensure sales and production employees use correct processing and sales procedures and methods. Handle customer complaints and forward unresolved complaints to customer service. Complete payroll tracking to reconcile labor hours by location for each pay period. Ensure stores meet all standards outlined in the monthly inspection and bonus qualification form. Qualifications Management experience in a retail/warehouse environment. Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Knowledge of retail floor merchandising and warehousing procedures. Computer skills. High level of stamina and ability to spend long hours standing. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stock and arrange merchandise on shelves. Contact with employees from all areas of the organization, shoppers, Goodwill donors, community members, and officials. Works in the community and in a retail store environment.
