Rome Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work within the hospital. Job Duties for the SOCIAL WORKER - LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC Providing individual, group and/or family sessions Providing psychotherapy, intake screenings and clinical assessments Safety planning and providing treatment recommendations Assisting patients with treatment planning Utilizing evidence-based assessments and treatment approaches Providing case management, linkage and referrals as appropriate Experience / Education Knowledge of Mental Health disorders, ability to create effective safety plans, complete suicidal/homicidal assessments and the ability to utilize various therapeutic interventions. The ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient-centered care. Knowledge of the DSM‑5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis. Knowledge of Professional Standards/Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulations. Knowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes.
