Travel Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetrics

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Readjustments of schedule may be accommodated based on traveler's choice for the number of hours.

Issaquah, WA and Edmonds, WA

We are seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses specializing in High Risk Obstetrics. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in postpartum care for high acuity patients and the capability to manage a busy census, including handling couplets in a high-volume facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality obstetric care to postpartum patients.
• Manage nursing activities for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed, including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin.
• Handle cases of postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient conditions and treatment plans in the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in High Risk Obstetric nursing.
• Active compact RN license required at submission.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Experience with high acuity patients and managing multiple couplets is essential.
• Ability to float between Issaquah and Edmonds campuses as needed.
