Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Nashville, Tennessee

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care to laboring patients and their newborns, including post-operative care for c-section patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Manage care of the laboring patients, including monitoring and assessment.
Provide immediate care to the newborn after delivery.
Circulate and recover patients following cesarean sections.
Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and assist with various procedures such as D&Cs, cerclages, and epidurals.
Collaborate with the unit team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Current RN license and valid certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
Ability to float as needed within a collaborative team environment.
