Plastic Surgeon

Marotta Plastic Surgery Specialists is seeking a Plastic Surgeon specializing in body contouring procedures to join our growing physician-led aesthetic surgery practice. We are currently exploring multiple employment structures, including full-time employment, part-time employment, and independent contractor (1099) arrangements, depending on candidate fit and availability. This role is ideal for a surgeon who values surgical excellence, patient safety, and long-term practice growth within a premium private practice environment.

The physician will perform consultations and select minor in-office procedures at our Manhasset and Smithtown locations, with all surgical procedures performed exclusively at our fully equipped surgical facility in Smithtown. This position offers the opportunity to build and expand a body-focused surgical practice within an established, high-end brand recognized for clinical quality and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Surgical & Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform consultations for surgical patients
• Perform surgical procedures at our Smithtown surgical facility
• Specialize in body contouring procedures including, but not limited to:
• Abdominoplasty
• Liposuction
• Body lifts
• Breast augmentation and revision
• Breast lift and reduction
• Mommy makeover procedures
• Post-weight-loss body contouring
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment planning
• Ensure adherence to patient safety standards and surgical best practices
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and clinical teams
• Deliver high-touch, patient-centered consultations and care
• Maintain honest, evidence-based surgical recommendations
• Support premium patient experience standards throughout the surgical journey
• Develop long-term patient relationships through trust and outcomes

Leadership & Practice Growth

• Partner with ownership and management on practice growth initiatives
• Participate in clinical quality improvement and protocol development
• Support staff education and training as needed
• Contribute to development of the body contouring service line
• Physician-led ownership

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Active New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong experience in aesthetic plastic surgery procedures
• Excellent surgical judgment and patient communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and ethical surgical practices

Preferred

• Experience building or expanding a cosmetic surgery practice
• Strong body contouring before-and-after portfolio
• Experience working within a premium private practice environment
• Interest in long-term practice growth and collaboration
