The Opportunity As Senior Designer / Art Director , you’ll play a critical role in shaping how PUSH 22’s clients and their brands show up in the world.This isn’t simply an execution role. You’ll take creative briefs and turn them into visual ideas. You’ll contribute to concept development, help define the look and feel of campaigns, and bring those ideas to life across digital, social, print, websites, presentations, events, environmental graphics and more. Some days you’ll be thinking big-picture. Other days you’ll be deep in the details—fine-tuning typography, imagery, composition or production files. You’ll need to love both. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and collaborate with creative, production and account management teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers, share your point of view and help raise the creative bar across the agency. What You’ll Do Turn creative briefs into compelling, distinctive visual concepts. Actively contribute to campaign and concept development—not simply execute someone else’s ideas. Develop creative across digital, social, print, environmental and experiential applications. Design and produce creative assets from concept through final production. Bring brand identities and campaigns to life across multiple touchpoints. Collaborate with creative, production and account teams to make the work stronger. Present and communicate creative concepts clearly to both creative and non-creative audiences. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ brands, audiences and business objectives. Ensure files are built to specification using strong production and asset-governance practices. Keep projects, files and assets organized according to team standards. Mentor and support junior team members. Stay curious about emerging tools, technologies and visual trends—and know when they can make the work better. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone with 4–10 years of design experience , including at least 3 years in an agency environment, with a strong understanding of brand marketing and creative strategy. Your portfolio is important. We want to see evidence of: Exceptional typography, composition, color and visual hierarchy Strong art direction, imagery and visual storytelling Brand identity and brand marketing Concept development and campaign thinking Digital, social and print design Event and large-format creative High-level Adobe Creative Suite and Figma expertise Experience working within asset governance and creative operations standards You’ll also need to be an excellent communicator. You should be comfortable explaining the thinking behind a creative concept to a junior designer, an account leader, a client—or someone who doesn’t speak fluent “design.” Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS platforms and email editors is a plus. Experience in the automotive aftermarket is also a bonus. You have a point of view—and you’re open to having it challenged. You can think conceptually but still care about the last detail.
