Physical Therapists - PT THER - Travel (Hueytown, Alabama) TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking an immediate travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Hueytown, Alabama. This is a full‑time, 8‑hour shift position (40 hours per week). Job Overview As a PT in the acute care setting you will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the facility, following appropriate guidelines and state regulations Comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care Understand and implement adaptive equipment selection Evaluate and create a plan of care, modifying as indicated based on patient condition Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged); exceptional candidates may be considered with 1 year of experience BLS certification and state‑specific licensing required Additional certifications may be required before assignment Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Compensation & Benefits Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40‑hour weeks (subject to confirmation) Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined Travel assignment of 13 weeks, 40 hours per week Job ID 1418242 #J-18808-Ljbffr
