Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by effectively managing assigned territories, building strong customer relationships, and utilizing technical sales skills to meet client needs. This role requires a blend of inside sales expertise and the ability to negotiate and upsell products and services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs to provide tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize software tools for territory management, tracking sales activities, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize revenue from each client interaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand product features and benefits, enabling effective communication with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales is required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Familiarity with territory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using software tools for sales tracking and reporting.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques in sales.
