Licensed Practical Nurse - GVFM (Geneseo/Lakeville)

Job Summary Supervised by a Registered Nurse or Physician, the LPN guides patients through a seamless process to ensure high-quality care and efficient delivery. The LPN directs patients through appointments, provides nursing services during care, and performs phone triage. The LPN collaborates in care planning discussions with RN, MD, or other providers to determine urgency of care needs, triages emergent situations to appropriate providers, and schedules acute care appointments to maximize patient care opportunities and unit efficiency. LPN maintains the flow of the provider schedule during patient care sessions, minimizing patient wait time whenever possible. Compensation Range: $25.79 - $33.20 hourly. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State. Experience: Minimum six months of LPN experience preferred; outpatient primary care and/or pediatric experience preferred. License/Certification: New York State Licensed Practical Nurse; Current American Heart Association CPR and AED certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers). Knowledge of age-specific medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions. Understanding of documentation standards. Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment. Understanding of basic laboratory procedures including preparation and screening. Knowledge of infection prevention, infectious disease management and control, and safety standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
