(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist - Histology - NEW Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at a well-established laboratory located in Chicago, IL! This laboratory has a full range of services including (but not limited to) hematology, serology, virology, flow cytometry, chemistry, molecular biology, NGS and anatomic pathology! This laboratory houses an innovation center that improves turnaround times through pioneering sophisticated tools and automated technology. If you are looking to work an industry-leading laboratory - apply below! This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Histotech on night shift. The histotech is responsible for the preparation of gross specimens, embedding tissues, processing tissue specimens, cutting tissues and performing all stains. In addition, the histotech will also be developing new techniques as well as eventually teaching. For consideration, applicants must have an Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or an accredited Histology Program - HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) Certification is strongly preferred.
