In addition, you will assist the Food Bank Warehouse Supervisor in various warehouse functions, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service. Proficiency in loading, unloading, and stocking incoming and outgoing supplies is essential. Attention to detail is crucial for accurately completing daily vehicle, inventory, and warehouse maintenance logs, as well as for properly recording weights and disposing of expired foods. Adherence to safety practices and procedures at all times is mandatory.Successful candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, lift and carry up to 75 pounds, and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching for extended periods. Additionally, the ability to sit or stand for prolonged durations is important.
