Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy assessments and treatments to adult and geriatric patients on an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit
• Manage a caseload with patient ratios of 5–6:1 on an 11-bed unit
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including CVA, respiratory conditions, cardiac conditions, amputations, fractures, and joint replacements
• Utilize unit equipment including TENs units, ergometers, parallel bars, and Omnicycle
• Document accurately using Net Health, PRO Doc, and Pro Touch EHR systems
• Float to LTAC/ARU settings as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license meeting standard state requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Strong skills in patient assessments and development of individualized treatment plans
• Must provide at least 4 hours advance notice prior to shift for any cancellation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient or acute care experience strongly preferred
• Experience treating CVA, cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, and amputation diagnoses
• Team-oriented and solution-based approach to patient care
