Job Description As a Vehicle Cosmetic Inspector at BluCar, you will ensure the accuracy and quality of vehicle descriptions presented to customers. You will meticulously inspect vehicles for cosmetic damage, document findings, and contribute to overall efficiency of the auction process. Travel to DFW for training required. Essential Duties Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify and document cosmetic damages. Record findings using Copart’s proprietary software. Capture high‑quality photographs highlighting strengths and imperfections. Maintain strict adherence to Copart’s standards and guidelines. Collaborate with Vehicle Inspectors, Auction Coordinators, and Customer Service Representatives. Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries about vehicle condition. Participate in training sessions to improve inspection techniques. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive technology preferred. Experience in automotive detailing, bodywork, or cosmetic inspection preferred. Proficiency with digital photography equipment and basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accurate assessment of cosmetic damages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Flexibility and willingness to collaborate on a dynamic team. Pay: $27.33 per hour.
