This contract position welcomes a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to engage with young learners and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

This full-time role runs from August through November 2026, offering between 32 and 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to help students maximize their potential in the classroom through direct intervention and creative support strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Valid COTA certification
• Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with academic settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans under the direction of an OT

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions to support students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
• Assist students in building skills for greater independence in daily school activities
• Document therapy sessions and progress, ensuring compliance with state and school guidelines
• Collaborate with the occupational therapist, special education staff, educators, and families to address student needs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of student programming
