About the Role
As StoragePRO's Field Maintenance Technician, you will work at various storage facilities performing basic maintenance/general construction duties, such as:
- General carpentry, hanging drywall, installation of carpet/flooring, painting.
- Electrical repair (certification a plus).
- Plumbing repairs.
- Roofing repairs.
- Door repairs including rollup doors, swing doors, and spring repair/maintenance.
- Landscaping including irrigation and installation.
- Operate power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, jackhammers. nail guns, etc.
Qualifications
About You: The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of general construction/maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Basic computer skills; strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and plan various projects; work independently or within a team
- Ability to complete daily and weekly reports
- US work authorization
Schedule: Full-time, day shift. Availability on the weekends for emergency repairs required. This position will cover different stores during the work week within the geographic area, including cities or regions in the East (or North) bay.
