Join us.ATI is seeking an Operations Leader to join our Specialty Rolled Products group for our Monaca, PA facility. This position is responsible for leading a diverse, represented hourly workforce in day-to-day operational activities, in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Control for his/her production units. To accomplish this, the candidate must be able to interact with all levels of the organization including support staffs.Essential FunctionsManage hourly personnel including daily assignments, work performance, and policy adherence.Drive improvements in equipment reliability with direct involvement in maintenance activities.Implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, efficiency, costs, and overall performance.Lead daily operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to established operating standards.Develop technical knowledge of equipment and processes to support troubleshooting, operator effectiveness, and continuous improvement.Job RequirementsBasic Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Math disciplineExperience as an Operations Leader/supervisor in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading a represented/union workforceExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systemsExposure to equipment maintenance/reliability practicesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to lead a diverse and represented hourly workforce. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization skills. Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to use statistical software is a plusStrong problem-solving skills. Ability to use today's statistical methods such as Six Sigma is a plus.This is a steady daylight position.
