Pay Range: $14 - $20 / hour. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Residential Electrician Helper to work alongside our experienced electricians in delivering high-quality electrical services to our residential clients. As a Residential Electrician Helper, you will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while learning and gaining valuable hands‑on experience in the field. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential properties. Assist with wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. Support the electrician in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues. Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Learn and apply industry best practices and techniques. Competencies Willingness to learn and work in the field of electrical services. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools. Strong work ethic and the ability to take direction from experienced electricians. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong commitment to safety and a safety‑conscious mindset. A valid driver’s license is a plus. A clean driving record. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds. Must be able to climb and work on ladders up to 28 feet in height. Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs. Must have the ability to use hands and arms to handle tools and perform repetitive tasks.
