Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist working with schools on a contract, part-time basis. This rewarding position offers the flexibility to work in an educational setting near Stockton, CA, with a schedule to be determined based on district needs. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students to provide high-quality psychological services, including conducting evaluations and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience with school-based evaluations (initials, re-evals) and preparing related reports
• Familiarity with best practices for IEPs, BIPs, and conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and evaluations as part of the special education process (initials, reevaluations)
• Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and deliver input on students’ progress and supports
• Provide staff training and support regarding psychological and behavioral services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Promote students’ academic, social, and emotional success through evidence-based practices
