Desired Qualifications: Secondary 7-12 English Language Arts Teacher BA Endorsement- Secondary Certification, Highly Qualified Other Endorsements CX/RX CC DX/DI or EX

Job Description:

Provision of the proper physical environment of classroom (neat, clean and well organized and appropriately decorated). Provision of supervision of students as requested and/or as the need arises outside of the classroom. Maintenance of a positive, constructive and controlled classroom atmosphere. Establish and maintain a non-threatening atmosphere for individual students and your classes in total. Communicate frequently and effectively with students and parents. Display a thorough knowledge of the subject matter being taught Specify what is to be learned on a daily basis. Provide the motivation to learn it. Challenge students daily through the provision of materials and information at a suitable rate. Display competence in the utilization of a variety of instructional activities. Maintain strict student and parent confidentiality.
